We will go through everything we recorded and then name scenes and takes. Catalogue it! After that we will patiently await a first edit from the visual side, which we can start working to!
Dave has been asked to compose music for the short film based on a classical piece and together we will handle the sound design and the mixing of the soundtrack.

The production weekend was intense with long, hard days and a lot of sounds. Even the children next door played their part in our location sound - Nothing is better then a singing child from next door interrupting one of the actors in an intimate quiet moment, as he is trying to deliver a delicate line. Add some car alarms to that and people shouting outside the window and you have an idea about the production. But both Dave and I enjoyed every minute of it! We were armed to the teeth with microphones and managed to get some great sound effects for when George Lukas rings us (red. the next Star Wars – we got a great light sabre sound from an old fuse box – happy that no one filmed us getting that sound as we were two children with mics for swords).

It was a pleasure to work with the crew, who were all nice people and extremely good at what they do. The next production will start in 4 days, which both Dave and I are looking forward to.
We will put up more information about these films and the VERSION festival when we know more.
